The Latest
Just a little update to talk about what I’ve been up to these days. The mid-term election season is over, which means there is some time (however little) to collect myself before the hoopla begins regarding the 2012 election season. Of course we’re not in the clear just yet, as the holiday season is upon us! This of course means things won’t truly settle down until after the New Year. Still, this is my favorite time of year, so no gripes from me! I am in the holiday mood as much as ever, and very much looking forward to all the festivities lined up for the next several weeks. I prefer a quiet, old fashioned Christmas, but there is no escaping the madness completely. It wouldn’t really be Christmas without a little craziness, now would it? This year I decorated in a completely retro 60s style, with a white tree and colorful lights and ornaments. Considered going all the way and getting an aluminum tree, complete with color spotlight, but there was no time for that.
As for the New Year, looks like the fun won’t quite stop as we’re planning to move at the end of January. We’ll still be in San Diego, but feel it’s time for a bigger place. I’ll miss our cozy apartment by the beach, but I won’t mind getting away from some of the congestion. Because of this, I’m not planning too far in the future beyond the move. Not the case when it comes to music though! In fact, be sure to look for some new releases at the beginning of 2011. “Seasons” is getting printed as we speak, but from this point I am looking to release singles for a while. I have a whole bunch of new music to sell and thought this was the right way to go for now. It won’t limit the style I choose to work on, or projects I decide to make priorities. I am very excited about the new website launch, which should certainly set the tone for the next single, “A New Chapter”…it truly will be!
