Disney Continues to Self-Destruct

Just the little bit that is leaking from the new Snow White live-action remake is enough to communicate that the Disney corporation is staying the course for destruction. They are actually bound and determined to tear down the kingdom that Walt built. They hate his vision, they hate the wholesome values that he promoted, and are embarrassed by his movies. This is evident once again in this interview where Rachel Zegler (who is cast as Snow White) basically said as much:

But these new values she talks about simply don’t resonate in the hearts of human beings. You cannot undo the order of things. Women don’t care about leadership more than love, sorry, it doesn’t sell. Why such disdain for love anyway? As if personal ambition and power are of greater value. Perhaps because love is the very embodiment of who God is and he hates pride. Can you think of any being who might have a problem with that? Then you’ll know who is running the show at Disney nowadays.

I guess I shouldn’t feel so bad when I consider that Walt Disney died all the way back in 1966. He influenced a huge amount of people who got on board with his vision and held down the fort for the last 50 years. It’s actually quite incredible when you think of how one man transformed the culture by promoting themes that elevated the human spirit. But the people running the show now don’t get it. They are parasites who are feeding off someone else’s success to push a nefarious agenda. In doing so, the foundation has completely eroded, so unless they change course, I forsee the kingdom crumbling. But hey, it was a good run.
