Happy Valentine’s Day from Jakki Jelene!

I have to admit, I’m definitely a romantic and it often comes out in my songwriting. Love is a complicated thing though. Sometimes it’s glorious, sometimes it endures hardships, sometimes it’s mutual and sometimes unrequited. But nothing strikes the human heart quite so forcefully as cupid’s keen arrow and once you’ve been hit it will change you in a million different ways. I guess this is why so many songs are about love and I’m certainly no stranger to its infectious influence on my music as well. So, on Love’s day of days, I thought I’d share a handful of my most amourous tracks, starting with “Bewilder Me” (which can be found on my new album, “Bewilder”) because I can think of no better way to describe how love makes us feel about that special someone…”We all have our imperfections but we all have our areas where we shine, and nobody shines like you for me!”
